Can we prevent anxiety? Yes and no. If anxiety is mostly the result of a situational, short-lived problem over which the person has some influence, it can be prevented by modifying certain habits. A healthy lifestyle can greatly reduce anxiety, returning it to a tolerable level.

When anxiety is linked to individual biological and psychological factors, prevention is much more problematic. Of course, a healthy lifestyle can help a person recover, but in the case of pathological anxiety, medical treatment adapted to the particular individual may be necessary.
Among the possible treatments is pharmacological treatment, which has greatly increased in popularity in recent years. Nevertheless, medication cannot resolve everything and a psychological approach in the form of therapy is indicated in most cases.

- low consumption of caffeine, alcohol and nicotine
- a healthy diet
- and, most of all, regular exercise.
