Program description
Since 2003, the Mental Illness Foundation has offered Working it Out, a training program aimed at preventing mental health problems in the workplace addressed to employers, employees and peer helpers in Quebec companies.
The main objective of Working it Out is to raise awareness among employers, employees and peer helpers of the issue related to mental illnesses and to mobilize them and equip them to react in their roles.

Working it Out makes it possible to:
- Promote early detection of mental health problems in the workplace by offering avenues for solutions for employees, managers and peer helpers;
- Equip employees to recognize and understand signs of mental health problems and ask for help for themselves and their colleagues;
- Train managers to recognize the main signs of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and personality disorders and manage people suffering from mental illness (including prevention, managing disruption of employment and the employee’s return).
- These services are offered in the form of workshops or conferences. Our trainers go to your office to meet your team.
